WESTCHESTER COUNTY
From the County Executive George Latimer
Westchester County is a unique place. Our home county is fortunate to possess a wealth of talented, successful individuals; a strategic location adjacent to New York City; geography blessed by rolling hills, the mighty Hudson River and lovely L.I. Sound. We serve as home to major U.S. corporations and almost one million people. Our task is to give Westchester the competent, forward-thinking government that residents deserve, at an affordable cost. I am honored to serve as your County Executive, and working with the Board of Legislators and other elected officials, we intend to do the very best job possible for our neighbors. We trust this Web site will become, over time, a “one-stop shop” for all of your Westchester needs.
Westchester, in all its beautiful diversity, offers bustling cities, hometown villages, farms, forests, tall towers and Gothic mansions. We want to celebrate our county and work to make it the best it can be. Please contact me with any ideas, questions or concerns through either our online form, my e-mail address at or or by phone at (914) 995-2900.
